The Welcome Project has been selected as the partner organization for a pilot project developed as part of United Way’s ‘The Shift’ program, entitled ‘Cincinnati’s Table’. The United Way is providing The Welcome Project with $15,000 as well as technical assistance and guidance to implement the project, which will result in one meal per month for 13 months. The Cincinnati’s Table project aims to bridge relationships within neighborhoods including but not limited to helping immigrants connect with each other and their neighbors through shared meals.
Novembers dinner is focused on the Anderson neighborhood. Syrian cuisine will be prepared by neighborhood chef Alaa Chammaa and Jeffrey Miller, with a community art activity led by Stacy Sims. For more information please email firstname.lastname@example.org
