Artisan Spotlight 


I was born in Bhutan and lived there for 27 years until I had to flee to Nepal where I lived in a refugee camp with my husband, and children. I came to the United States in 2015. When I first came to the USA life was difficult but it’s less stressful now. My husband and daughter are working and my son is in elementary school. I can’t see well so I may never drive but I can do other work. I never studied until I came to the United States, but now I feel so good that I can write my name. I love the food in the USA and my favorite is vegetarian pizza. I also love to garden and grow foods to cook for my family. I enjoy my work at Welcome.
